Capilano University (CapU) is a teaching-focused public university based in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, located on the slopes of the North Shore Mountains, with programming that also serves the Sea-to-Sky Corridor and the Sunshine Coast.
Founded in 1968, Capilano University opened its permanent campus in North Vancouver in 1973. The University offers around 100 programs, which include design, film, engineering, business administration, hospitality, kinesiology, healthcare, interdisciplinary studies, law, music, and many others.
Capilano University is a public university in North Vancouver which was established in 1968. With four campuses, the university is home to 12,700 students. Around 2,500 International students representing 86 countries around the world contribute to the diversity of the university.
