Aug 2011 • Friends. The Tangra Chinatown in Kolkata is the only Chinatown in India. Once home to nearly 20,000 chineese now only 2,000 remain. The area is now dotted with cheap chineese resturants and bars where people flock to party on a budget. Best to stick to the bigger and better resturants in the area though.
