Feb 17, 2022 · Minato-ku is the most expensive ward to live in out of all the 23 wards in Tokyo (and thus Japan), so if you want something cost efficient it's probably not the best place to look. I think Nakano is a nice area, and you should be able to find a bigger place that fits your budget there.
May 14, 2024 · Rent a smaller and cheaper place in Minato Ku that will remain vacant while I'm away. Give up my current place, forward mail to a friend’s address, and then re-register at a new place in Minato Ku when I return. I’m willing to sacrifice benefits if necessary, but I want to make an informed decision.
May 5, 2021 · I don’t know Tokyo but you should really aim for a real barber, not hair stylist. Most old style barbershops can use clippers to do fades but I believe stylists aren’t actually trained to use them, maybe why yours used scissors.
May 1, 2016 · 20-25 m2, 5-15min walk from the station in a pretty decent building in Hiro/Ebisu/Nakameguro is more than doable according to my latest Suumo searches. I would not get anything more than 10mins from the station personally, though. I know it seems tempting at first but people usually get fed up with it quite fast.
