Tavleen Singh is an author, journalist and TV anchor. She currently writes three weekly columns. One in English that appears in the Indian Express, one in Hindi that appears in India Today and a third column in English that is syndicated to various newspapers in India.

Tavleen Singh has been a journalist for more than 40 years. She has worked in television and print journalism covering events in South Asia that included elections in Pakistan and India, ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka, a coup in the Maldives and ethnic conflicts in Kashmir and Punjab.
Tavleen Singh – one of the only five women reporters in Delhi at the time, is an award-winning Indian veteran journalist and one of the first female political reporters in India, who has worked for both print and electronic media.
