Raghuveer Chaudhari is a novelist, poet and critic from Gujarat, India. He has also worked as a columnist for numerous newspapers, such as Sandesh, Janmabhumi, Nirikshaka and Divya Bhaskar. He was a teacher at the Gujarat University until his retirement in 1998.
જીવન. ૪૭મી વાર્ષિક ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય પરિષદમાં રઘુવીર ચૌધરી. તેમનો જન્મ ઉત્તર ગુજરાતમાં હાલમાં ગાંધીનગર જિલ્લામાં આવેલા બાપુપુરા ગામમાં થયો હતો. પ્રાથમિક અને માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ માણસામાં કર્યા બાદ તેમણે ૧૯૬૦માં હિંદી વિષય સાથે બી.એ. કરીને અધ્યાપનની શરૂઆત કરી હતી. તેમણે ૧૯૬૨માં એમ.એ. અને ૧૯૭૯માં હિંદી-ગુજરાતી ધાતુકોશ વિષય પર પીએચ.ડી.ની ઉપાધિ મેળવી હતી.

Raghuveer Chaudhari had worked for adult-education in his village and also constructed a small library and a theatre for his school. During vacations, he used to work with social workers. He was very active in 'Navanirrnan Andolan' - an anti-corruption movement - against the State Government of Gujarat.

Raghuveer Chaudhari is a popular Gujarati writer who has been conferred with the Jnanpith Award 2015, India’s highest literary awards awarded by government of India. He has become the fourth Gujarati writer to receive the prestigious award and he won this award at the age of 77.
