Elena Asins Rodríguez (Madrid, 2 March 1940 – Azpirotz, Navarra, 14 December 2015) was a prominent visual artist, writer, lecturer and critic. Her plastic language was based on computer systematic calculation.

Awarded in 2006 with the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, in 2011 she received the National Prize for Plastic Arts and the MNCARS presented the retrospective exhibition Elena Asins. Fragments of memory. In 2012 she received the Art and Patronage Award, La Caixa Foundation, Barcelona.
