The University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila (UET Taxila) is a public university located in Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in 1975 as a campus of the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and chartered as an independent university in 1993.
About Us. With phenomenal increase in students' enrollment in 1970's, a plan to establish additional campuses of the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore was conceived. As a result of that, the University College of Engineering Taxila was established in 1975. For three years it functioned at Sahiwal.
Existing registered candidates will automatically be considered for 2 nd cycle of admission (Entry 2022). All those candidates who had secured the admission in 1 st cycle but did not join need to apply again for 2 nd cycle. The merit list of 2 nd cycle is expected in 1 st week of December 2022.
