A great place for a day trip or a family outing is the Siddharth Garden and Zoo. Lush green sprawling gardens and a well-maintained zoo are the main attractions here. The zoo is home to a number of interesting animals, chief of which is the white tiger.
The zoo is the abode of a number of wild animals like tigers, lions, leopards, Civet cats, snakes (snake house), crocodiles, emu, fox, deer, hyena, etc. It was quite an enjoyable visit with the children. A musical fountain and statue of Buddha are also adorning this park. Garden Timings: 10 AM to 7 PM on all days except on Tuesdays.
About Siddharth Garden and Zoo. Siddharth Garden is a beautiful garden in the heart of the city and adjacent to the Kham River. The main gateway of the place is designed with an artificial waterfall. It looks awesome after the sunset when the lights are turned on.
