Collingwood College. About Us. Collingwood encourages you to be the best you can be at whatever interests you. Our students are ambitious, get involved and make great things happen: from Art to Zorbing, there are over 70 sports teams and over 20 societies and committees to join.
Welcome from the Principal. May I, on behalf of everyone at Collingwood, congratulate you on your examination successes, your offer of a place at Durham, and, of course, your impending membership of our College.
Collingwood College is a fully catered college. Livers in receive three meals per day, seven days a week! The cost of all meals is already included in your residence fee.
We are a single-site college and almost all of the college is accessible within the same building, rather than split up into blocks. Collingwood has state-of-the-art facilities for all of the Collingwood community to enjoy (including when you might live out in your second, third/fourth years).
Collingwood College. Our Values. At heart, Collingwood is a truly informal College and our community is marked by non-hierarchical, informal relationships. This is evident in the encounters between our staff and students, and is noticeable in the way we work so closely with our student leaders.
