It was Viktor, as he’s known in the industry, who asked Munir to write a song for his directorial debut, which resulted in the creation of Falak Tak , her first song as a lyricist.

She grew up being heavily influenced by literature and the arts given that her grandmother, Salma Siddiqui was an Urdu literary writer, and her father was a graduate of FTII as well as a professor of Film Studies.
