Winnie Holzman is an American playwright, screenwriter, actor, and producer. She is best known for writing the book of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical, Wicked, and for creating the television series, My So Called Life. She also wrote the screenplays for the upcoming two-part movie versions of Wicked.
