Sir Tej Bahadur Sapru was born on 8th December 1875 in Aligarh in present-day Uttar Pradesh. He was the leader of the Liberal Party and a lawyer. He had cooperated with Congress in numerous freedom movements like Quit India, Salt Satyagraha, Non-Cooperation Movement.
