Mark Lindsay (born March 9, 1942) is an American musician, best known as the lead singer of the rock band Paul Revere & the Raiders. Early life [ edit ] Lindsay was born in Eugene, Oregon , and was the second of eight children of George and Esther Ellis Lindsay.
Mark is a Solo Artist, Songwriter, and Producer, as well as Co-Founder / Original Lead Singer of Paul Revere & the Raiders from its inception through January 1975. His voice is heard on all of the Raiders' 16 Top 20 hits, including many which have earned Gold and Platinum Awards.

The original lead singer and co-founder of Paul Revere & the Raiders, Mark Lindsay was born in Oregon but raised in Idaho, where he began his career as the rockabilly singer in Freddy Chapman's Idaho Playboys. His bandmates were the guitar-playing brothers Dick and "Mooney" White.
