Wei Hai-min ( Chinese: 魏海敏; born 1957) is a Taiwanese Peking opera singer-actress who plays Dan roles. A winner of Taiwan's National Award for Arts [ zh] and China's Plum Blossom Prize, Wei is widely recognized a Peking opera superstar.
Wei Hai-Min is an heir of the Mei School established by Mei Lanfang and the lead actor of GuoGuang Opera Company. In 1991, Wei became Mei Baojiu’s first official disciple. Her performance is highly acclaimed by global audiences and art critics.
