Adam Thomas Jones (born January 15, 1965) is an American musician, songwriter, animator, and visual artist, best known as the lead guitarist for Tool. Jones has been rated the 75th-greatest guitarist of all time by the Rolling Stone and placed ninth in Guitar World ' s Top 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists.
Adam LaMarque Jones (born August 1, 1985) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Orix Buffaloes. The Mariners selected Jones in the first round of the 2003 MLB draft.
