Alan Davey (born 11 September 1963) is an English musician, best known as the former bassist with the rock band Hawkwind. He is the original bass player in Gunslinger which started in 1979 and is still the bass player and vocalist for Gunslinger.

Feb 2, 2024 · Alan Davey is best known as the former bassist of Hawkwind. He is now the bass player/vocalist for Gunslinger as well as Psychedelic Warlords and Thunor. Also in The Meads of Asphodel between 2003-2015. Davey formed his first band, Gunslinger, in 1979 with his cousin Nigel Potter.
