Years active: 1990-1991 (as Burial ), 1991-present. Cradle of Filth's first album was supposed to be a record titled Goetia, which was recorded between their second and third demo releases. It was finished, but never released due to funding problems and the eventual shutdown of the label Tombstone Records.
