Nov 6, 1998 · Synopsis by Mark Deming. Two women inching into middle age must weather a variety of life crises in the comic drama Crossing Fields. Carol (Reedy Gibbs) and Jessica (Gwynyth Walsh) are two close friends in their early 40's living in a small Middle American community.
