In a lively Tamil village in the eighties, a ceremonial statue of a horse goes missing, throwing the villagers into comic chaos. Suseendran’s feature opens like a tragedy, then goes on to surprise and delight with its warm but pointed satire.
Year is 1980's. Village committee meets and decides to do the Azhagar festival, in which the famous god's idol (Azhagar) taken around the streets and do few ceremonies. The villager's are stunned to find the Azhagar's wooden horse is missing. Azhagar in Tamil Nadu has no meaning without the horse.
