Godzilla vs. Megalon (ゴジラ対メガロ, Gojira tai Megaro) is a 1973 Japanese kaiju film directed by Jun Fukuda, written by Fukuda and Shinichi Sekizawa, and produced by Tomoyuki Tanaka, with special effects by Teruyoshi Nakano.

In this 13th installment of the 1st Godzilla series deals with the underground country of Seatopia striking back at mankind. The reason? A third of their country has already been destroyed, due to underground nuclear tests. They send their guardian, Megalon, to destroy the surface world.
The undersea nation of Seatopia sends the gigantic Megalon to destroy the world above - and it's up to Godzilla and a size-shifting robot, Jet Jaguar, to defeat him.
