Thenali (Kamal Hasan) suffers from severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). His doctors who are unable to cure Thenali of his mental illness, send him over to Dr. Kailash's (Jayaram) for therapy. While under Kailash's treatment, Thenali falls for the doctor's sister.
Thenali. A traumatised Sri Lankan Tamil is beset by elaborate phobias. A psychiatrist refers him to a rival shrink. The doctor takes an instant dislike to his new patient, while his wife and sister take a liking to him. The rest of the movie is a comedy entertainer.
