Three generations of women share the same problem--marriage woes--and want to put an end to it. Tired of her husband's philandering ways, the mother of a daughter and a niece who all have the same name, Cissie Colpitts, drowns her husband.
A curious tale of three women of the same name, whose solidarity for one another brings about three copy-cat drownings. Their husbands are the victims and the motive is dissatisfaction. The women are confident that their crimes will not be punished because they have in tow a coroner who loves them. Our take.
