KILLER ARMY (1979) is one of the better entries in the series of films starring the five actors-martial artists collectively known as the Five Venoms (from their first film together, FIVE DEADLY VENOMS). It's a lavish historical kung fu adventure shot entirely on the sprawling studio sets of the Shaw Bros. Hong Kong studio.
This one, also known as Killer Army, is a rarity and one of the last Chang Cheh pictures to feature all of the Venom Mob together, set in the early 1900's and focusing upon the power-hungry General Chen (Lu Feng) overseeing a town ravaged by war and crawling with refugees.
