Yannis Papadopoulos, a soldier in the Greek Army and a father of two, is thrilled when he joins the newly established Armed Forces Television in Athens. At last, after months on the snowy Greek-Bulgarian border, Yannis is confident that he will finally be close to his wife and children.
The film is the story of a group of soldiers, who, in the course of their compulsory military service in 1967 and 1968, before and during the military dictatorship in Greece, are assigned to the then recently founded Armed Forces Television.
