Redgrave and Robertson are at the top of their game in Out of Season, but George's sexy performance comes close to stealing the film.
Ann is the proprietress of a small seaside hotel, suddenly visited by her American beau of twenty years back, who wants to rekindle the affair but is distracted by her nubile sexpot of a daughter. One of the women settles down to live with him at the expense of the other’s happiness.
