Phyllis' sister Inah learns that she is pregnant, and after her lover Billy abandons her, Inah attempts suicide. Phyllis asks Bobbie for enough money to send Inah away quietly and after he refuses, she appeals to Martin, offering to marry him in exchange for the money.
