Zen sul ghiaccio sottile is a coming of age film that follows the self-exploration journey of Maia (aka Zen), a teenager in search of her identity while struggling with the bullying from her peers. The desire to bring characters that live on the margins of their community to the centre of the storytelling is at the core of my vision as a director.
