The Order of Assassins or simply the Assassins (Arabic: الحَشّاشِین, romanized: Al-Ḥashshāshīyīn; Persian: حشاشين, romanized: Ḥaššāšīn) were a Nizari Isma'ili order that existed between 1090 and 1275 AD, founded by Hassan-i Sabbah.
The Assassins is a historical action drama that follows the leader of the Assassins, Hassan al-Sabah, and his followers in the 11th century. The series features Karim Abdel Aziz, Sammy Sheik, Ahmed Al Refaei and other stars, and is set in a context of conflict between the Fatimid, Abbasid and Seljuk empires.
