During a competition with a neighboring tribe in Afghanistan, Badshah Khan (Amitabh Bachchan) falls in love with Benazir (Sridevi), and will do anything to marry her. He does so, and they get married. Benazir's dad is killed by Habibulla, and Badshah goes to seek him in India from a jail.
