Out of the Blue (released in Canada as No Looking Back) is a 1980 drama film directed by Dennis Hopper, and starring Linda Manz, Hopper, Sharon Farrell, Don Gordon, and Raymond Burr. The film was produced by Leonard Yakir and written by him and Brenda Nielson.
The fearless Linda Manz stars in “Blue” as the daughter of an ex con, ex hippie, and - for all intents and purposes - ex father, played by Hopper himself. “Blue” is awash with the after effects of failed cultural revolution.

Cebe is a teenage rebel obsessed with Elvis. Her father is in prison after drunkenly smashing his rig into a school bus, and her mother is a junkie waitress. With Don’s release, the family struggles to reconnect and the trauma of the past looms large as dark secrets slowly begin to emerge.
