Frankenweenie. Frankenweenie is a 2012 3D stop motion sci-fi family film directed by Tim Burton. It is a feature-length remake of Burton's 1984 short film of the same name and is a parody of and a homage to the 1931 film, Frankenstein based on Mary Shelley's book of the same name. Like both those films, Frankenweenie is in black and white.

Oct 5, 2012 · Frankenweenie is a solid stop-motion horror film from Disney. Interesting plot, coupled with a suitable cast and untypical animation. It's also in black-and-white, which doesn't hamper things at all - I, in a weird sort of way, kinda forgot it was b/w for vast portions. Charlie Tahan voices the lead character, Victor Frankenstein.
