18 hours ago · New Delhi: India will “most likely” receive above-normal rainfall during July, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday, in an updated forecast that also noted an 11 per cent rainfall deficit during June. The IMD said monthly rainfall over the country as a whole during July would most likely be greater than 106 per cent of the long-period average for the month. Most parts of the country are expected to receive normal to above-normal rainfall, it said.
