Pasupuleti Venkata Bangarraju, known professionally as Krishna Vamsi, is an Indian film director, producer and choreographer known for his work in Telugu cinema. Vamsi started his career as an assistant director to Ram Gopal Varma. He made his directorial debut with the 1995 crime film Gulabi, starring J. D. Chakravarthi.
Krishna Vamsi was born on 28 July 1962 in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is a writer and director, known for Khadgam (2002), Govindudu Andari Vaadele (2014) and Anthahpuram (1998). He has been married to Ramya Krishnan since 12 June 2003.
Vamsi Krishna is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil films. He made his debut in Gharshana (2004) and went on to play the antagonist in films including Thadaiyara Thaakka (2012) and Ivan Veramathiri (2013).
Krishna Vamsi was born in Tadepalligudem in Andhra Pradesh. His father named him “Venkata Bangaaru Raju”. His friends used to call/tease him by the name “Bangaaram”. So, before joining his Intermediate Course, he changed his name to “Krishna Vamsi”.
