Huang Hsin-yao (born in 1973) is a Taiwanese film director. He was born and raised in Tainan City, Taiwan. He graduated from the Graduate Institute of Documentary & Film Archiving, TNNUA, and received an MFA in 2005. Huang was one of the three executive board members of the Taipei Documentary Filmmakers' Union from 2006 to 2013.
