Tina Gordon Chism is an American screenwriter, producer, and director. She studied drama at Duke Ellington School for Performing Arts. Chism began her career as an intern in the writing department of The Cosby Show before going on to write the films ATL and Drumline.
Chism’s underlying goal was to make a movie about black male mentorship in which the main character learns about discipline, responsibility and working with others.
