The college's grand opening took place on June 30, 1964, with just one B.Sc. Mathematics course offered under the direction of Shri. Totadri Iyengar, a former student of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. For more than 50 years, Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College has served as a shelter for numerous generations of eager students.
