Sarala Birla (23 November 1923 – 28 March 2015) [1] was an Indian Businesswoman prominent member of the Birla family of Indian industrialists. She took interest in public education and, along with her husband, is credited with having co-founded about 45 educational institutions supported by her family's conglomerate.

Her husband was with her when she breathed her last. Her body will be brought to the city on Sunday for the final rites.
