He formerly owned the Phoenix Suns of the NBA , the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA , the Arizona Sandsharks of the Continental Indoor Soccer League , the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League , and the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball .
