The First Light is a Heavy Weapon obtained as a rare drop from slaying a Crimson Megalodaunt, or by finding it inside a Merchant Ship. It has unique animations and a unique critical.

The user plunges their sword into the ground, similar to Flame Eruption, causing everyone near the user to be burnt. This is followed up with flaming swords raining from the sky, similar to the Crimson Megalodaunt's Pyroclastic Roar. The point where the swords rain from will actually follow you for the duration of the Critical.

•It is mostly used as a distraction or pressure as opposed to dealing actual damage due to the randomness of the swords and the large area it covers.

•Compared to other greatswords, this one looks more modern as the design resembles a more modern-designed blade and handle with designs and patterns of edges and gold crafted into it, rather than a basic flat blade with some carvings scratched into it, like the Darksteel Greatsword.

•The hilt and blade resemble the Medieval European sword design, meant to resemble a crucifix. This suggest a more modern but also Western origin.

•One of three greatswords (Others being the Enforcer's Blade and Railblade), that has no endlag on m1s.

•Deals 37 damage at 75 HVY, and roughly 40.8 damage at 100 HVY.

•The special animations for this sword may be the old Railblade animations because when you spawn in Visionshaper clones, they will utilize the older animations of the First Light.

•Back then, it had its own M1 animations. As it was later then removed, because "It was unfinished and buggy." However they have been recently remade.

  2. In astronomy, first light is the first use of a telescope (or, in general, a new instrument) to take an astronomical image after it has been constructed. This is often not the first viewing using the telescope; optical tests will probably have been performed to adjust the components.

  3. Learn about the latest results on the early universe from the James Webb Space Telescope, the most powerful space observatory ever built. Join astronomers from around the world to discuss the formation and evolution of the first galaxies and quasars, the reionization and metal enrichment of the universe, and more.

  4. Jun 22, 2023 · New results from the James Webb Space Telescope find that radiation from ordinary galaxies cleared the primordial haze left over from the Big Bang, allowing the first light to shine through the early universe.

  5. Jul 9, 2023 · The telescope has revealed surprising discoveries about the earliest galaxies and black holes in the universe, pushing back the limit of cosmic time. Learn about the conference at MIT that showcased the first year of observations and the challenges ahead.

  6. Webb is a powerful time machine with infrared vision that is peering back over 13.5 billion years to see the first stars and galaxies forming out of the darkness of the early universe.
