Anthony Christopher Kubek (born October 12, 1935) [1] is an American former professional baseball player and television broadcaster. During his nine-year playing career with the New York Yankees, Kubek played in six World Series in the late 1950s and early 1960s, starting in 37 World Series games.
Tony Kubek was a shortstop, outfielder and third baseman who played for the New York Yankees from 1957 to 1965. He won four World Series, three All-Star awards and one MVP award, and had a career batting average of .266.
