Larisa Yevgenyevna Lazutina (Russian: Лариса Евгеньевна Лазутина; née Ptitsyna, born 1 June 1965) is a Soviet-Russian former professional cross-country skier.
Larisa Lazutina followed in the skisteps of Galina Kulakova, Yelena Välbe, and Raisa Smetanina as the greatest Russian female cross-country skier. She won 11 championships at the Olympics and World Championships, trailing only the 16 won by Välbe.
Aged just 21, Latynina made her Olympic debut at the 1956 Melbourne Games. She fought off fierce competition to win gold in the all-around event. In the apparatus finals she finished first in the vault, second on the uneven bars and in the floor exercise, and fourth on the balance beam.
