Zhang Yufei (Chinese: 张雨霏; pinyin: Zhāng Yǔfēi; born 19 April 1998) is a Chinese competitive swimmer who specializes in sprint freestyle and butterfly events.
Oct 7, 2023 · Zhang Yufei was named women's MVP at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou on Saturday night (7 October) with her People's Republic of China swimming teammate Qin Haiyang taking the men's award. Zhang, who won two golds and two silver medals at Tokyo 2020 in 2021, equalled Ikee Rikako's record haul of six golds at the 2018 Asian Games.
Jul 24, 2023 · Zhang Yufei won the women's 100m butterfly at the World Aquatics Championships 2023 in Fukuoka, Japan, as the People's Republic of China doubled up on Monday (24 July). The Chinese swimmer held off the reigning world and Olympic champions Torii Huske and Maggie Mac Neil, respectively, to win gold in 56.12 seconds.

Jul 29, 2021 · Zhang will go down as one of the breakthrough swimming stars at the Tokyo Games. She also won a silver in the 100 butterfly. Not bad for someone who had never claimed a major international title before these Olympics. Zhang’s best showing in three appearances at the world championships is third.
