Sharat Saxena (born 17 August 1950) is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi films along with Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil films. He has acted in more than 250 Bollywood films. Saxena started his career in the early 1970s and has mainly played supporting roles.

He was nominated for ‘Filmfare Best Villain Award’ for ‘Ghulam’ in 1998. Amir Khan had suggested Sharat Saxena’s name for the film Ghulam after watching him in the Mithun Chakraborty starrer ‘Boxer’.

Sharat Saxena was born on 17 August 1950 in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. He did his schooling from St.Joseph's Convent School, Bhopal. He did Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication from Jabalpur Engineering College. But later, he determined to become an actor. He reached Mumbai in 1972 and eventually he got the role of a henchman in the movie – Benaam. It was followed by Dil Deewana, Agent Vinod (1977), Des Pardes (1978), Taranna (1979) and Kaala Pathar (1979) during late 70’s.
