Omi Vaidya (born January 10, 1982) is an American actor of Indian descent who works in Bollywood films. He is best known for his performance as Chatur Ramalingam or "Silencer" in the 2009 buddy-drama film, 3 Idiots. [2] In addition, Vaidya has played roles on The Office and Arrested Development.
Omi was born and raised in California, but he used to visit India every year. Vaidya was just 6 when he started acting for some English plays in the US and in Marathi Mandal nataks (shows). After graduating from college, he started working with an agent and got some roles in TV commercials.
