Francesco " Ciccio " Ingrassia (5 October 1922 – 28 April 2003) was an Italian actor, comedian and film director. He was born in Palermo, Sicily, and began his career in the 1950s, although his career only really took off in the 1960s. He starred in many comedies, mainly appearing together with Franco Franchi as the comedy duo Franco and Ciccio.

4 days ago · Ciccio Ingrassia soffriva da tempo di problemi respiratori con combatteva dal 2001. Tre anni più tardi la malattia ha preso il sopravvento e non c’è stato nulla da fare per lui. E’ morto presso il Policlinico Gemelli di Roma. I funerali sono stati celebrati il 30 aprile nella Basilica di Sant’Agnese, alla presenza di amici e familiari.
Franco and Ciccio (Italian: Franco e Ciccio, pronounced [ˈfraŋko e tˈtʃittʃo]) were a comic comedy duo formed by Italian actors Franco Franchi (1928–1992) and Ciccio Ingrassia (1922–2003), particularly popular in the 1960s and 1970s. Their collaboration began in 1954 in the theatre field, and ended with Franchi's death in 1992.
