Hilde Wagener (26 September 1904 – 26 December 1992) was a German-born actress who settled in Austria. Primarily a stage actress, she also appeared in several films, such as The Burning Secret (1933), generally in supporting roles.

Hilde Wagener gab 1923 in dem Spielfilm Die Gasse der Liebe und der Sünde ihr Filmdebüt. 1924 bis 1990 war sie Ensemblemitglied des Burgtheaters, später deren Ehrenmitglied. 1933 erhielt sie den Berufstitel Kammerschauspielerin.

The Burning Secret ( German: Brennendes Geheimnis) is a 1933 Austrian-German drama film directed by Robert Siodmak and starring Alfred Abel, Hilde Wagener and Hans Joachim Schaufuß. It was based on the 1913 novella of the same title by Stefan Zweig.
Hilde Wagener was educated at a business school and then at a boarding school in Berlin. She took acting lessons and first appeared on the stage at the Deutschen Theater Hannover. After that she worked in Vienna for the Wiener Bühne and the Renaissancetheater. From 1924 to 1990 she was a member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater.
