Filip Trifonov (Bulgarian: Филип Трифонов) (4 May 1947 – 6 January 2021) was a Bulgarian actor. He appeared in more than thirty films since 1971. Trifonov's most prominent role is one of his first films The Boy Turns Man , which was released in 1972.

Филип Иванов Трифонов е български филмов и театрален актьор. Биография. Образование. Завършва средното си образование в 34 гимназия в София. Висшето си образование завършва във ВИТИЗ „Кръстьо Сарафов“ (1969 – 1973), където учи актьорско майсторство за драматичен театър в класа на Апостол Карамитев.

Even before he finished his education in 1971 Filip Trifonov made his cinema debut in the film "The Test" (directed by Georgi Djulgerov). He played the main role - character Lio. Then he played the title role in "The Boy goes" (directed by Lyudmil Kirkov).
