Ti Lung is a veteran actor who appeared in many Shaw Brothers films and other classics, such as A Better Tomorrow, The Legend of Drunken Master, and The Sentimental Swordsman. He is known for his roles as a loyal and honorable swordsman, a police officer, and a gangster.
Born in Guangdong, Ti Lung was educated at Eton School in Hong Kong. He worked as a tailor for a short time, despite becoming a student of Chu Wan--a well-known Wing Chun teacher. His extraordinary acting ability led him to audition for a leading role in Chang Cheh's 1969 film "Dead End".
