Amelia Bence (born María Amelia Batvinik; 13 November 1914 – 8 February 2016) was an Argentine film actress and one of the divas of the Golden Age of Argentine Cinema (1940–1960).

Inició su carrera a temprana edad luego de ser alumna de Alfonsina Storni en el Teatro Infantil Lavardén y de Mecha Quintana en el Conservatorio Nacional de Música y Declamación.
Amelia Bence was born on 13 November 1914 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was an actress, known for A sangre fría (1947), La danza del fuego (1949) and Lauracha (1946). She was married to Alberto Closas and Charlie Ortiz Basualdo. She died on 8 February 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Amelia Bence. María Amelia Batvinik was the daughter of Belarusian Jewish immigrants, she was born on November 14, 1914 in Buenos Aires, in a house located on Pasaje del Carmen, in Barrio Norte. She was the youngest of the seven children of Jaime Batvinik, a construction contractor, originally from Minsk, and Ana Zager, from Pinsk.
