Dr David Vegh is a senior lecturer and STFC Ernest Rutherford Fellow in theoretical physics at Queen Mary University of London. He works on string theory, black hole physics, entanglement, and emergent spacetime, and has taught and supervised students in these areas.
Interests. Our current understanding of Nature is centered around two theories: general relativity which describes classical gravity, and quantum field theory which describes the strong and electroweak interactions and various low-energy phenomena.
